VR experience for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift

A data experience in virtual reality that aims to re-sensitize the user to the casualties of the terrorist attacks in Europe, refugee deaths in the Mediterranean Sea, and the human cost of the Syrian civil war. The project challenges the lack of concern that results from the frequency of such news on the mass media. By walking the user through hundreds of thousands of dead bodies in photorealistic CGI scenes.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Ali Eslami is a VR Artist and Practitioner from Iran. (b.1991) He has been working with VR technology since 2014. Develops and designs Interactive VR Experiences to explore new pathways in this emerging medium. Further than that, re-imagine and construct possible futures through the speculative design of virtual space, time and bodies. His realities span between fiction and non-fiction to reflect his practice-led research in VR.
